Backend Developer

We’re looking for an iOS developer to build high-quality native apps for connected-device products. You’ll work closely with Android, backend, QA and design colleagues to deliver features that are reliable and performant, with clean code throughout.

• Design, build and maintain native iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate apps with external devices over Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi.
• Turn UI/UX designs into polished, responsive, accessible screens.
• Integrate with REST APIs using a shared API contract (OpenAPI).
• Apply a modern app architecture (MVVM, clean architecture, TCA or similar).
• Write unit and UI tests, and take part in code reviews.
• Profile and fix performance, memory, battery and stability issues.
• Work in an agile team that uses CI/CD pipelines.

• 4–7 years of iOS development, with strong Swift skills.
• Hands-on experience with SwiftUI, plus working knowledge of UIKit.
• Swift Concurrency (async/await) and Combine.
• URLSession networking, plus Core Data, SwiftData or similar persistence.
• Background modes (Bluetooth, audio, background tasks) and app lifecycle handling.
• Permission and privacy handling (Info.plist, privacy manifests).
• Testing with XCTest or XCUITest, and profiling with Instruments.
• Modular apps built with Swift Package Manager, plus Git and a code-review workflow.

• Experience with smart glasses, wearables or AR devices.
• CoreBluetooth: GATT services and characteristics, scanning, pairing, and state restoration.
• Network framework or local network communication with devices.
• Integrating third-party hardware or vendor SDKs.

• Media handling (AVFoundation, camera, audio).
• OAuth2/OpenID Connect authentication flows.
• Crash reporting and monitoring tools such as Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools.

• Links to apps you’ve shipped (App Store or GitHub).
• A short note on one device-integration or performance problem you solved.

• Greenfield product work with a modern native stack and connected hardware.
